Go Greek Week

“Go Greek Week” is a multi-day event facilitated by Greek Council to promote the idea of going Greek during Summer B. The purpose of this week is to facilitate an idea of how we can make an impact as a community, unified as one.

The first event we held was a welcome social at the South Academic Village Courtyard. Prospective students wanting to join the Greek community had the opportunity to watch presentations from each council and speak to members regarding their concerns. Greek Council’s Pack-A-Backpack Initiative was held the next day where members of each council volunteered their time to pack 263 backpacks, which were donated to local back to school drives.

Greek council is known for being the unifying body between the four councils: Diversified Greek Council, Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and national Pan-Hellenic Council. Through a variety of events, Greek Council facilitates cross-council interactions and partnerships.
