National Pan-Hellenic Council Garden

Thank you for visiting our page! On behalf of the National Pan-Hellenic Council at the University of Central Florida, we are pleased to announce our upcoming plot initiative. As members of the Divine Nine, we are seeking support for this project from alumni, students, and any other members of the Greek Community.

Who is the Divine Nine?

On May 10, 1930, the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)  was founded on Howard University, serving as the organization housing nine historically black fraternities and sororities: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.,  Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. Each of these organizations uphold principles that foster the ideal of serving the community through scholarship and service.

Purpose of Plots

To continue advocating for awareness amongst black Greek-Lettered organizations, plots were created on college campuses. Plots are designed to represent each organization and provide members with a place to gather and celebrate their history. These plots are meant to be a positive reflection on NPHC and establish a sense of belonging on college campuses as well as educating students.
